Rising and upcoming starts are
not uncommon in Indian Cricket. The stylish left-handed wicket-keeper batsman
Ishan Kishan is also among one of them. Ishan hails from Bihar and the
hard-hitting Mumbai Indian cricketer has carved a niche for himself with his
performance in the Indian Premier League over the years.
Against Bangladesh, wicket-keeper
batsman Ishan Kishan has created a sensation by playing an explosive innings of
210 runs. Ishaan has become the fourth and youngest batsman to score a double
century for India. Along with this, many big records were also registered in his
name. In this innings, he faced 131 balls in which he also hit 24 fours and 10
sky-high sixes. During this, he also played some shots that reminded Kapil Dev
of winning the World Cup for the first time for India.
Ishaan Kishan repeated the same
shot in his innings for which Kapil Dev got a lot of fame. Ishaan, like Kapil
Dev, took the news of Bangladeshi bowlers fiercely by hitting Natraj’s mudra
shot. In such a situation, now this shot of Ishaan Kishan is becoming quite
viral.
Ishaan made many big records by
playing an inning of 210 runs against Bangladesh. This was Ishaan’s first
century in ODI career and this is the first time that a batsman has converted
his first century into a double century. Apart from this, Ishaan has also
become the youngest batsman to score a double century. Ishaan has achieved this
feat at the age of 24. Earlier, Rohit Sharma did the feat of scoring a double
century at the age of 26.
Ishaan Kishan completed his
double century in just 126 balls. With this, the record of scoring the fastest
double century in ODI cricket has now become his name. He made this great
record by leaving behind former West Indies explosive player Chris Gayle. Gayle
scored a double century in 138 balls.
With this, Ishaan has also become
the fourth Indian batsman to score a double century in ODI cricket. Sachin
Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag and Rohit Sharma have done this feat before Ishaan.
