A good night sleep plays an essential role in maintaining a
good health. Thus insomnia is hazardous
for an individual as it may cause depression, diabetes, heart diseases and
obesity. You must identify and cut the root of this problem by avoiding those
things that deprive you from sleeping.
Sleep deprivation is common for a person suffering from
stress, anxiety, or depression. Also uncomfortable sleeping conditions,
like beds, temperature, light or noise can disturb your sleep. Usage of
alcohol, caffeine or nicotine also triggers lack of sleep. People working in irregular shift work hours are prone to
insomnia.
Daily physical activity is the best way to curb
insomnia. Exercising early in a day not
only boosts your overall health rather it also improves your quality of sleep. However never exercise within two hours of bedtime. Set a regular bedtime and a regular time to
wake up so that your body gets habituated of sleeping during those hours. Make
sure to avoid napping throughout the day.
Eat good and sleep good. An healthy diet helps in treating
insomnia. Avoid consumption of big meals, alcohol, caffeine or nicotine within
2 hours before bed time. Rather sipping a glass of warm milk before bedtime
makes sleeping easy. Never watch TV or use your phone or tablet before going to
bed because full-spectrum light from electronic gadgets that obstructs you from
falling asleep. Relax yourself by reading, listening to music, or taking a
bath, before bed to improve your sleep.

insomnia remedies then you must visit a doctor. Also you must see a doctor if
your insomnia lasts over a period of months or if it’s affecting your daily
life. Your doctor would help you getting rid of your sleep problem by following
advances treatment procedures like behavioural therapy and medication.
